This is really a Tony Iommi solo album. I say that not as a dig, but because it was recorded that way. The musical style is different from Black Sabbath, more slick and polished.

The record company and management forced the Black Sabbath name on there because they felt it would sell better.

The story is common knowledge, but the album was very good.

Not typical Sabbath, but it was not intended to be a Sabbath album. I saw the tour in 1986 and it was awesome-Ray Gillen was one of the greats. I was lucky to see him. What pipes that guy had.

Not only was the Black Sabbath name forced by the label but it was done at the absolute last minute. Joe Siegler has photos of the acetate labels on his website and nowhere does the name Black Sabbath appear.
