Wasn't sure where to put this but I am quite interested in this.

My guess is this will ignore the Brian Howe and Robert Hart eras which is a shame but maybe not.

In any case, will the DVD be in PAL?

Not.

Haha, I do enjoy some of those Howe-era songs, and I have the CDs, but it was just so different than classic Bad Co. Wish they had gone under a different name.

I am all over this mag. Thanks, IP!

Moved it to Collector's Corner. Also added the actual cover art, which the publisher doesn't show, and here's a link for Amazon UK, which is always cheaper on these Classic Rock Collector's Packs than buying them "direct":

I understand totally.

I did see them with Howe and they were really good-did the old and new tunes proud. It was Bad Co to me but a very different one.

Rodgers is my favorite vocalist ever so that's the real deal.

I am all over this-but I am thinking the DVD is PAL which will suck.

I expect to see this at B&N but not until April or so.

I'm really only interested in when Paul Rodgers came in as a replacement...

May pick this up. I've never been a huge Bad Company fan, but you can't deny what they've done.

Got mine in the mail today. Happy to report that the DVD does play in my North American machine - and it's an hour and 23 minutes long!
Can't wait to watch it and read the mag - especially since I bought tix today for Paul Rodgers in May!

I need this! One of my best concert experiences was seeing Bad Company's first tour headlining at MSG.

I had 7th row from the stage and it was the most star studded concert I ever went to. All 4 members of Zep were in the front row (being proud and supporting their Swan Song mates), Ian Anderson of Tull who at times leapt out of his seat when a music passage hit him just right. And right in front of me as we were walking thru the entrance towards to our seats was the great Leslie West!

Thanks DanO for you thoughts. Yeah, what an experience. Maggie Bell opened up and started the night in the right mood.

Went to B&N today (3/20) and the Special Collection not to be found, I will give them up two more weeks and if not found I will order via mail. I cannot miss this issue!

The magazine is pretty good, and I do recommend it, however, one annoying aspect is the fact that the story is broken into sections featuring individual band members and albums - that's just fine, but they actually copy the SAME EXACT text over several times from feature to feature. Sloppy and unprofessional. Still looking forward to the DVD.

Enjoyed it much more than I thought. It was done very well and did not hold back on both the good and bad.

It was really great to see the remaining guys just sitting on the couch reminiscing. You can see they really enjoy each others company and having respect for each other.

I read that Paul Rodgers was involved a few years back in getting back the masters together.
Boy, would I love to see a reissue or better yet a 4 cd box with a DVD for the concert footage.
