I apologize in advance if this one's already been covered. In searching old threads, I found similar ones, like songs that "borrow" from other songs, but not specifically that reference other song titles.

Two examples are:
- The Beatles - Glass Onion - referencing numerous other Beatles tunes
- Jethro Tull - Cross Eyed Mary - referencing Aqualung

These just happen to be referencing their own song titles, but I wouldn't exclude artists referring to other artists' songs. There's probably a bunch out there I'm just not thinking of. What have you got?

The Barclay James Harvest song "Titles" is comprised almost solely of Beatles song titles. Here are the complete lyrics:

The long and winding road that leads to your door,
Here comes the sun it's alright people shout for more,
But were you trying to deceive telling me,
All you need is love to succeed,
Across the universe one after nine 'o' nine,
I got a feeling for you blue and I feel fine,
I tried so hard to make believe that I'd see,
All you need is love to succeed

Chorus:
Lady Madonna let it be,
Something in the way you moved me yesterday,
All you need is love so they say

It's actually a very good song and not as cheesy at it looks on paper.

Apologies to Bon Jovi fans (I do not like them), but their song "It's My Life" has that awful line: "Like Frankie said, I did it 'My Way'."

Ringo's tribute to George, "Never Without You," includes the phrases "within you without you" and "all things must pass."

Songs She Sang In The Shower ~ Jason Isbell

And the songs that she sang in the shower are stuck in my head
Like "Bring Out Your Dead", "Breakfast In Bed"

...
And the songs that she sang in the shower all ring in my ear
Like "Wish You Were Here". How I wish you were here.

...
And the songs she sang in the shower are stuck in my mind
Like "Yesterday's Wine", like yesterday's wine

Whoa, that's a ton already. Figured there were a lot I didn't know about. So didn't mention it before, and don't think anyone's gone there, but no sequels, as there's already been a list for those.

The opening song on the Ghostwriters' first album is called "Someone's Singing New York, New York" which is also the chorus.

Then that same album's second track, "The World Is Almost at Peace" has a line that goes, "The marching band plays, 'The Saints Come Marching In.'" (After which the bass line quotes the melody of that song.)

Warren Zevon, "Play It All Night Long":

'Sweet Home Alabama'
Play that dead band's song
Turn those speakers up full blast
Play it all night long
