I got an email from Google giving me 2 free months of Google Play Music, so I finally pulled the trigger. Wow. While I have my own music library, the available music is just mind blowing. I'm keeping it after the trial is over. Those of you who aren't adamantly anti-MP3, I'd recommend this over Spotify or Grooveshark. The latter because of the dodgy legality (in the US at least), the former just because you can include your own music you already purchased/burned.

I haven't signed up for the monthly service, but I'm taking advantage of the free cloud storage for up to 20,000 songs, so I can listen to music at work without having to use storage on my phone. I've ripped probably 3/4 of my CDs and am up to 18,000 songs, so pretty soon I'll have to make some choices. So far, live albums and deluxe edition bonus discs have been the first casualty.

I've been using the free cloud service for a long time now, and it's great as well.

Right now we're paying for Amazon Cloud, but might switch over to Google Play because of the Spotify-eque service.
