I'm going with Dreadstar. But I do love his Death of Captain Marvel.
And while short, his Thanos run was brilliantly hilarious.

Warlock by a mile - that comic had such a massive influence on childhood me. I still love it to death.

It took me years to get all the issues and finally read the whole story. the first couple of issues I had were in french ( black and white). The first time I ever walked into a real comic book store I found some Baxter Paper compilation editions of Warlock and I was hooked on comics again.

I originally read them in reprint form (Aussie B&W ones), and was stunned when I first saw the 'real' ones in colour.

I've only read Cosmic Odyssey, Death of New Gods and Marvel: The End. That was enough to leave with little desire to look further into his work.

I voted Dreadstar too, which means that he should have three votes right now.

I like the one he did where the villain was that oversized pasty-skinned guy...

He didn't quilte know what to make of that. I have to say he is an influence on my work.
