Wondering if it's any good. The premise seems cool --

Quote:
Nth Man: The Ultimate Ninja is a comic book about an American ninja set in an unspecified near future where World War III has started. Using TV news commentary as a plot exposition device, it is revealed that the war was caused by Alfie O'Meagan, using his psychic abilities to neutralize all nuclear weapons on the planet, upsetting the balance of power. When the Soviet Union launches biological weapons, Alfie's attempt to turn them harmless backfires.

Using a narrative jump of one year (which was forced upon writer Larry Hama in order to wrap up the story, due to the cancellation of the series), we see that the biological weapons were turned into a mutagenic virus, and millions are transformed into psychotic, cannibalistic "moots".

I didn't read it. But Larry Hama wrote a good G.I. Joe comic, so it may be OK.

They're not zombies, they're moots, so it's completely different from the more recent stories you might have read which involve psychotic, cannibalistic characters in a post-apocalyptic environment.

I remember enjoying it. But I was 15. I can't remember why I enjoyed it.

World War Moot?

The Mooting Dead?

I cannot recall Nth Man, but it does sound like fun.

Thanks to the cover, now I remember that comic. I never bought it, but I remember the ads, and seeing it in the store. It seemed like the Ninja fad had come and gone at that point. I was surprised that was still a thing.

NO. That book cost a whole dollar!
Back when I started collecting comics I could get 8 books for a dollar,
or go to the second hand store and get 50 books for a dollar.
One dollar for one comic?!? humph!!! :luddite: :luddite: :luddite:

Dammit....now I want to read this. That cover image rang some kind of bell - I'd read this and love it, I can tell just from that one picture.

I demand an Omnibus version!
