 1. Ghost Town 2. How Will You Feel Tonight 3. Shoot For The Moon 4. The Midnight Rodeo (In The Lead Tonight) 5. Cry No More 6. Break Of Hearts 7. Love's So Cruel 8. Special Care 9. When Hearts Collide 10. High Sierra Poco's album, Ghost Town, was originally released in 1982. It features a polished country rock sound with lush vocals and instrumentation. Standout songs include the hit Shoot the Moon, the title track and Break of Hearts. Deluxe Vinyl Replicas by Culture Factory constitute high quality reissued compact-discs which reproduce all the components of the original LPs and are their exact replicas in compact-disc size (5.3 x 5.3 inches), with authentic single or gatefold cardboard jackets and paper sleeves. In addition to the above, each compact-disc Deluxe Vinyl Replica includes a black finish CD complete with the original label to give it the look and feel of the original record album. Culture Factory strives to achieve an authentic sound with the highest possible fidelity to the original studio masters. Our remastering process brings out the music's true dynamics and original clarity with low levels of noise. In the remastering studio the audio tracks are handled in the form of high-definition, 96Kz / 24-bit digital files for greatest preservation of fidelity. Signal compression is sometimes used to bring out frequencies that were absent or barely heard in the original recordings, and we use the least amount of compression possible. While sound perception varies greatly among individuals our vinyl replica CDs are designed to provide the optimal listening experience when using flat EQ settings. Brand new, original, factory-sealed, limited edition CD release. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HYID6MA/?tag=imwan-20

One of my favorite Poco albums and I have the long OOP edition from Wounded Bird which actually sounds fine.
This was the band's first album on Atlantic and had the hit "Shoot For The Moon" and the minor hit title cut which is a mini-masterpiece.
I'd imagine this will be beautifully packaged and have terrible sound from this confusing label.

why? Because it's not easy to get, especially remastered. One of my fave Poco albums, it's on my list for the upgrade. Rick A.

why? This album has grown in respect over the years. I only know of the Wounded Bird reissue-was there an overseas release or a smaller label that issued it before? Either way, the album is worthy of revisting but this label is known for compression galore despite what they claim. However, I can't confirm that as I don't own anything from them.

However, I can't confirm that as I don't own anything from them. you need to go out and get yourself some poco. extremely good, and underrated band. wonderful playing and singing, lots of personal changes but all them made the band just a little bit different. some of their stuff can quite difficult to get. good luck.

The Poco live album "DELIVERIN'" is awesome and shows what a great live band they were.

Ghost Town was on Atlantic (I mentioned that above). I know "Shoot For The Moon" was a Top 50 single. Album sales do not equal musical value-this was a damn fine album and one of their best IMO.

No, I do not, but I have been pleased with all of their Billy Squier and April Wine reissues.

Maybe Geff, Culture Factory hasn't had good press about their reissues. If I do find a used copy though I'll roll the dice. Rick A.

Rick, I'm assuming based on your wording that you already have an older pressing of this release? If so, I have heard several Culture Factories. They are really bad.

I do Geff, it's from Wounded Bird. That label reissues usually lack dynamics while Culture Club red lines them. Can't someone just get somewhere in the middle of these two. Rick A.

That would be nice. I've questioned a times if WB is working from safeties a couple generations removed.
