Elijah Woods' chance to show moviegoers he's more than just Frodo:
Because a career with more than 100 credits, that stretches from 1989 through 2014 wasn't enough to show that.
He's barely done anything since LOTR, and nothing particularly notable. That could be because he was a child star and sort of still has that look even at 33. But mostly, he didn't do anything remarkable besides LOTR, so I kinda have to agree with Eddie here.
...that said, it looks like this was a 2013 release, and not something upcoming. So, it looks like he missed his chance to show the world he was more than Frodo.
He does star in the American version of Wilfred and is pretty good in it (according to the net, the ratings were good until its lead in "Louie" took a year off,so next year will be its last......4 years in all,not bad) I watched the first year and liked it but never caught up with the rest.

I went to AmazWAN, and these links confuse me. The first one is for Instant Video, and it brags about how you can see the movie on Amazon before it's in theatres---which implies that it is going to be released in theatres later in 2014. (Presumedly, Amazon would update this if it already HAD been released.)
On the other hand, here is a pre-release link for the Grand Piano Blu-Ray. I know non-Oscar releases generally get a DVD release three months after they've been out, but isn't this rather early?

In fairness to Elijah Wood's work ethic, if he is getting residuals from LOTR DVD sales and all the times those movies are shown on cable TV, he might not NEED to work that often.

I found this trailer because it was listed as one of the most anticipated horror movies for 2014. Does that mean it ISN'T a 2013 film? No...but I checked imdb and its releases in the U.S. last year were for film festivals. So it's possible that it could be released in theatres sometime this year, but if those Amazon links I posted are to be believed, it may just be a straight-to-Blu-Ray release and never see the light of a multiplex.
IMDB says 2013, in Spain. So it has not been released in the US yet. Apparently it's a Spanish film. With English speaking stars.
I don't care where it's filmed. I am interested if it's a GOOD film.
And I don't care what you're interested in. I was only replying to the question of release date, and also found it odd that it was a Spanish film, but using English speaking Hollywood leads.
