For me -- I read 1-3 books a month (sometimes more, as I collect by artist now but that's the usual), an occasional TPB usually featuring older stuff, and blocks of digital comics here and there.

My trade purchasing has gone down a lot in the past couple years, as most of the older stuff I'm interested in has been collected and purchased by me. Not much new interests me.

Have you been able to catch up on your reading? I remember you having a huge stack to get through before.

Showcases for my shelves, but I read 99% cbr files on my Kindle.

I read showcases and essentials as well as tpbs of old stuff. I did read and enjoy the 5 Ghosts tpb.

Slowly, I have gotten through some stuff. I am finally working through the Jack Kirby Fourth World Omnibus set and have been really enjoying that.

I stopped buying new trades of Powers and Invincible despite liking them decently overall. I am at a point where I sorta feel like I have to love something to get it. My casual purchases have dried up a bit.

That said, I blew some serious dough this past weekend with the Xenozoic Tales Artist Edition and the comics to complete my little Silver Age and Kirby displays.

Spend it now, because when you have kids it will be hard to buy that stuff later.

Yeah, I've heard! I feel good though, like I got many good years of wasteful fanboy spending in.

If I had to stop tomorrow, I think I'd feel fine about it -- I could get by on just Savage Dragon and the occassional TPB or art book. I don't need to do the massive binge spending I used to anymore.

I like hardcover omnibuses but they are a bitch to read I find.

I'm terrible about keeping up with monthly comics, so I do a combination of random trade purchases, digital singles, digital trades (now that I have a tablet), and checking stuff out of the library.

I don't have a comic shop so I regularly Buy TPBs, Mix of New and Old Stuff (prefer hardcovers.)

I enjoyed Before Watchmen except for the Silk Spectre story.

With a couple of exceptions I find the size not to be any obstacle to my reading them. The Conan one from Dark Horse is just HUGE though, and I don't know how I'm going to read it. It's comically big. Oversized pages as well as being thick as an unabridged dictionary.
