With 'Sounds That Can t Be Made' Marillion continue their successful musical journey.

The 17th studio album is as soulful and powerful as ever, including 8 brand new song and a new bonus special edition disc.

Recorded at Racket studio in England, the album echoes the great layered sound of albums like 'Marbles' and 'Afraid of Sunlight';, all that Marillion fans hope to hear on a new record. Songs like 'Gaza' and 'Montreal' show once more, that epic progressive songwriting can speak the musical language of the new millennium. 'Power' and 'Lucky Man' remind us that pop-rock music can also be powerful and deep.
The new album cover has been designed by Simon Ward while the booklet will feature the contribution of artists including Antonio Seijas, Andy Wright, Carl Glover, Marc Bessant and photographs taken from onboard the International Space Station!

This also has new cover artwork but I couldn't scan it.

I ignored this like the last batch of albums, but maybe I'd dare with this 2 CD version. Probably not though.

Was this extra disc available before?

No, the album was previously self-released by the band in CD and CD+DVD editions, but this is a new re-release... as for the material on disc two, you've got three live radio sessions, a demo, and two additional live tracks that will be part of a separate live DVD release later this year.
