All of the album's 13-tracks were recorded the old fashioned way - direct tape cut to lathe cut to vinyl. Really enjoyed his last album and will pick this one up. Still, I wish they'd include a free download with the album.

I picked up this album locally- a lot cheaper than Amazon. The first album had a more diverse sound but still I enjoyed the new album. Favorite tracks: "Southerner" (vocals by Patterson Hood), "Fall On My Own Sword" and "Gotta Get Outta The House".

Sounds great but I won't get it if it's not on CD. Is this the latest way to release music? Issue it on a format that most people won't buy. No wonder CDs are dying.

I didn't get his first album but I ordered the new one last week from BlowItOutaHere. With a 15% discount they were offering it came out to about $14 which I thought was reasonable. I assume there's no digital download code or CD copy included, right? If so, I really need to fix my turntable or pick up a new one so I can listen to this when it arrives.

No download code and no CD version. Mississippi Records has yet to release anything on CD, as far as I know.
