Anybody see this yet?



I think it's very well done. Maybe not in the best of taste, but it looks great.

Well ... I would say that this deceased lady is a better spokeswoman for chocolate than a live Kardashian, or any number of current celebrities they could have chosen.

Her son is kind of a whore about her legacy (Sean, not Luca; Luca is very private and doesn't interview or anything). That said, I saw this a while ago and I liked it. I even liked that Gap ad, which I also thought was very well done.

I can appreciate the concern over someones image being used to sell something they would not have agreed with, or to support something they would have been against, but in the case of these kinds of commercials this doesn't really apply.

It's more tasteful than Fred Astaire dancing with a vacuum cleaner, I'll give it that.

She had such an elegant beauty.

I don't really care for it. It feels maudlin to me.

I liked it. I've always loved her beautiful face. What a cutie. Anyway, it didn't seem disrespectful, so if her family is O.K. with it, I think it's a fine commercial.

Just wait until the zombies replace you in the workplace. You'll think differently about these undead ads.

Is everyone CGI or just her? I can't tell, which kind of scares me.

The CGI is some of the best I've seen. I think the only thing that seems odd (to me at least) is when 'she' blinks.
I'd forgotten about the GAP ad. This one was much better though.

What other commercials have used celebrities posthumously? I remember:
-Gene Kelly in the Volkswagen commercial
-John Wayne in a Beer commercial
-Bogart for something I can't remember
-Fred Astaire and the Dirt Devil products
-A REALLY frightening Orvil Reddenbocker:

I don't think he had passed yet, but that TV ad showing Christopher Reeve walking was terribly tasteless.

Seems she had 2 body doubles.
The guy in the car is real. His name is Nick Hopper. Though he really does look like somebody from that era of movie-making.

A commercial for an investment company of all things.(not that anything else would have made it better) That was absolutely horrible.

Wasn't Reeve alive and signing off on that commercial?
