I saw a trailer for this and I liked it except...the voice isn't the voice. I do a damned good Bill Scott Mr. Peabody and they've gone to what sounds like Kelsey Grammer, meaning that my impression is now useless.

It's Ty Burrell (Phil Dunphy from Modern Family).

And I'm driving the bus on this one.

Keep in mind that Peabody & Sherman were traveling in time before a certain Doctor and his granddaughter ever landed in a junkyard in London.

I believe it is entirely possible that at some point I will join you on said bus, perhaps before you board.

Then you are failing to keep certain things in mind.

I don't like that they're simply calling it "The Wayback" as opposed to "The Wayback Machine."

Is this aimed at today's kids? They won't know who these people are. It dates back to my childhood.....In the 60's!! 50 years ago!

What can I say? Linda nailed it. I need to get a mental image of Matt Smith sitting in that chair looking over my shoulder the next time I'm tempted to make a Doctor Who reference outside that thread.

Are they actually basing the whole movie on Mr. Peabody being Sherman's "dad"? I thought the joke of the original cartoon was that Sherman was Peabody's pet. Will this cartoon be taking things too seriously? Forget that last sentence---I just looked at the trailer.

So? It has a talking dog and time travel. That's timeless.

I might on board for this. It looks like it could be good.

The first episode spent a great deal of time covering "Dog adopting a Boy":

The trailer I saw yesterday had at least 3 butt/fart jokes. Hilarious, if you're between 5 and 12.
