I just found out that Burning Shed is selling a Bluray audio version of Selling England By The Pound on Jan 20th and pre-order is available.
It says it's a High Fidelity Pure Audio blu ray version from Universal which does use the 2007 DSD masters. Now the USA DVD Audio versions were quite bright sounding but the British SACD versions were more musical.
So we shall see how these sound.

I've heard that generally the Universal bluray audio series is no great shakes but I did like the Europe SACDs of Genesis and since I collect Genesis and these classic albums, I'm in.

FYI, be warned that the several I have heard from the UK Uni Blu-ray audio series have all been brickwalled. The UK SACD of Selling is excellent (though it's gotten pricy).

I lucked out, a few weeks back Music Direct was having a sale and the only Genesis they had left was "Selling..." so I grabbed it. I agree with JohnG, I feel the SACD is more musical than the DVDA.

I got the Beck "Sea Change" Bluray Pure Audio release today. I can confirm it is indeed in 5.1 24bit/192kHz DTS-MA and LPCM. It has the same bit rate in Stereo as well. I don't have the DVD-A to compare it to but it sure sounds sweet. Very nice 5.1 mix. One bummer, it does not include the bonus track "Ship In The Bottle" that is on the MoFi Gold disc.

I don't believe that any album in this series has been in 5.1 yet.
Only 3 known HFPA releases with 5.1 audio:
THe Who "Tommy" Beck "Sea Change" Queen "A Night at the Opera"
I do not know how the Queen disc is, but I have Tommy and I'm getting "Sea Change" tomorrow.
If anybody jumps on the Queen disc, please post the specs on it. I would like to know if it is a hi Rez clone of the 5.1 DTS 96/24 DVD with videos that was released o few years ago.
