Ah-finally, I can get this again.

Don't know if it's remastered or not.

I sold my 1996 issue for a pretty penny years ago and now I can get it back.

If anyone knows if this is a reissue or remaster, please let us know.

I still think it lacks in sound quality and has meandering but it's better than Carnegie Hall.

I may be the only person in the world, including the band, who likes the Carnegie Hall concert better than this. The remastered Carnegie sound pretty decent to me. This is a good show, though, and if you're a Chicago fan, you're gonna want it.

It'd be nice if Rhino reproduces the inserts from the LP, which, IIRC, were absent from the previous CD issue.

I thought the 2006-or-so Rhino version of Carnegie Hall sounded fantastic, much better than the original CD set I bought in the early 90s.

I like the Japan set, too, but haven't listened to it too many times, probably not in 5 years or so. From what I remember, Lee Loughnane misses quite a few notes on the trumpet that affected my enjoyment of it somewhat.

I also prefer the expanded edition of Carnegie over the original.

+1. Love Live in Japan also, but think I prefer Carnegie overall. Could do without Pete singing in Japanese on 2 songs on Live in Japan.
