Point Blank was a blue/rock band from Texas who had numerous charting albums in the mid-1970s and early 1980s. Two of those albums, the self-titled "Point Blank" & "Second Season" were originally issued on Arista Records in 1976 and 1977 respectively. It will probably be nicer to have these albums as two separate discs, but Wounded Bird's claim about it being their first time on CD isn't accurate. They were reissued as a two-fer in the UK a couple of years ago:

They tend to refer only to domestic pressings in their "PR".

I don't think so? This is southern rock.

By the way, I have the next two releases "Amercian Excess" and "On A Roll" from the Renaissance label. Bill Ham who produced ZZ Top produced both of these records.

These were issued already in 2006 by Wounded Bird, on individual CDs. Maybe they are re- reissuing them.

That could explain. Wounded Bird is not one to put any energy into updating their PR!

Yep.......it's the same group. They later changed from southern rock to faceless hard rock and signed with MCA.
