Only the Maid Of Steel was allowed to hold a movie on her own;the others were members of a team.
Seems the studios feel audiences won't watch a female superhero flying solo.Sad.

That is, unfortunately, a pretty sad list. I went with Black Widow. I think Whedon used her incredibly well in the Avengers, and I'd love to see a Black Widow solo movie.

Jean Grey. Great complexity in the character and the portrayal.

This. The only faults in the character were due to the wonky plots. Janssen had amazing screen presence. Flawless on her part.

Johansson has never made me believe that she was Black Widow.

Slater was so beautiful as Kara and Linda, and carried the innocence of a Jim Mooney Supergirl, but she was stuck in that god-awful movie. I hope they paid Peter O'Toole a ton of money for that fiasco.

I went with ScarJo, but I like Jamie Alexander's Sif a lot, too.

I almost picked Scarlett Johansson, but chose Jaime Alexander. Scarlett does a fine job, but she isn't quite how I pictured Black Widow, while Alexander's Sif was perfect in both films.

Basing on performance Jean Grey. Basing on hormones Malin Akerman.
