Whew, this thread was a fail.
By the way, Amazon sent me notice that the new Parker graphic novel should arrive by December 24. It's called "Slayground."

They should do a Parker versus Hulk one-shot.

There was a Mel Gibson movie based on the Parker character too IIRC. Payback?

The only Parker movie I've seen is Payback. It's what sparked my interest in the character. If you can, watch the director's cut, instead. Haven't watched the Statham movie yet, but I'll get around to it. I'm not optimistic.

The other ones didn't call him "Parker" though, right? Payback was just a storyline (that was changed drastically) and turned into a generic Mel Gibson action movie, wasn't it?

The Cooke novels were the first time the character was allowed to be called "Parker" in an adaptation prior to Richard Stark/Donald Westlake's death. The Statham movie is the first time he's called "Parker" in a film. The director's cut of Payback is a closer adaptation of The Hunter than the theatrical version in general, and much closer in tone. Both are pretty good, though. Point Blank, with Lee Marvin, adapts the same Parker novel.

If Spidey and Kraven had a baby, his name would be Parker the Hunter.
THINK ABOUT IT.

THINK ABOUT IT. He'd get teased at school if he was Kraven the Peter.
