Deep Purple will issue the “NOW What?!” Live Tapes” at the end of November as part of a European re-release of the band’s latest studio album, “NOW What?!”

The “NOW What?! Live Tapes” is a collection of 12 live songs that have been recorded in Rome, Milan, Gaevle and Aalborg on the band’s current tour.

Fans who have purchased "NOW What?!" will have the chance to buy the double pack, paying less than a newly released live album.

Fans of vinyl will have the chance to purchase the live album as a limited heavy vinyl double LP.

The "NOW What?! Live Tapes" will be available on all digital stores (bundled with NOW What?! or available singularly) and all streaming platforms.

Details about the content of a different version of this expanded edition for the US market, to be released in 2014, will be announced later in the year.

The NOW What?! Live Tapes (European version)

01. Strange Kind Of Woman
02. Hard Loving Man
03. Vincent Price
04. Contact Lost
05. All The Time in The World
06. No One Came
07. Bodyline
08. Perfect Strangers
09. Above And Beyond
10. Lazy
11. Black Night
12. Smoke On The Water

I have some interest; thing is there is more official live DP (especially of the Morse era) released that I really need. Another group that's overdoing the official boot concept, even if DOP is not packaging the Morse era material as official boots.

So not only are we being asked to buy the album again to get the live tracks, but there will be different versions for Europe and the US, probably involving the new songs.<sigh>

But wait! There's more! In Japan, it's being released as a two-disc limited edition in a cardboard sleeve. Details from CD Japan: "Comes with a bonus disc with "Hush (live ver.)," "Space Truckin' (2 alternate live takes)," "First Sign of Madness," and "Things I Never Said." Features the high-fidelity SHM-CD format (compatible with standard CD player). Packed in a cardboard sleeve case with serial number."

And it can be yours for only $30.83 plus shipping.

But that's STILL not all! Because there's also the deluxe UK box set, which according to Amazon.uk includes, "...the limited Edition Digipak Version of the NOW What?! studio album, NOW What?! Live Tapes in a slip case format, all three singles: “All The Time In The World”, “Vincent Price” and “Above And Beyond” in a slip case format, an exclusive T-Shirt (size L), an exclusive poster and a collectable Sticker." Act now, because these will go fast for about $50.

Step right up, Deep Purple fans, and bend right over. Now What? More like What Next?

So far I've only heard D1, imo it's the best DP live album of the Morse era.

CD1 looks exactly like the bonus disc in the new Why Not? reissue.

This studio album is one the best they've ever done and I would like to hear the live disc.

It is the same as D1 in the box. If anything, D2 better then D1!
