Note: This might end up being released domestically as part of Universal's Icon compilation series. That's what the Amazon USA pre-order link is for, although the details are currently still sketchy. It's definitely coming out in the UK, however. Badfinger collectors already have all this material, but I'm curious to know if the tracks have been newly remastered by Universal -- especially the last two, which are from the band's Warner Bros. and Elektra eras, respectively.

Is this a sufficient comp for a non-Badfinger collector? I don't think I have any of their stuff unless something is on a comp somewhere. It's probably time to rectify that.

I wouldn't call it bad (although there are certainly some head-scratching song choices) but I'd recommend going with The Very Best of Badfinger instead.

That's a solid recommendation.
Badfinger is one of the few groups for which I would say every album is worthy.

Found a used copy of "Very Best Of..." today, but held off to let this thread percolate some more.

I am not a fan of that track listing. Some of it seems to be drawn from a hat.

Bizarre track listing and from the latter years where is "Hold On"?

They deserve a better comp these days than this.

And I cringe at the Breaking Bad tie-in. I mean, I get it-but it's just such a shame that's how they have to promote this.
