Might as well start a new thread for this now, whatever the project ends up being:

Quote:
WB's Kevin Tsujihara Says 'We Need to Get Wonder Woman on the Big Screen or TV'

Warner Bros. Entertainment CEO Kevin Tsujihara participated in a lunchtime keynote interview at the USC Gould School of Law on Saturday and talked briefly about their DC Comics properties.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tsujihara said that the lack of superhero movies at Warner Bros. other than the Superman and Batman franchises had been a "missed opportunity." He added, however, that the studio has "huge plans for a number of other DC properties on TV."

He specifically addressed Wonder Woman: "We need to get Wonder Woman on the big screen or TV."

Will we get the Wonder Woman TV series "Amazon" on The CW? Is Wonder Woman part of Zack Snyder's Superman/Batman movie, as was rumored last month? Or would she get her own movie? We'll have to wait and see what's in store for Diana.

A new Wonder Woman TV show, set in WW2, would be the best idea in my opinion.

Exclusive: Jaimie Alexander Talks 'Thor' Sequels, Wonder Woman, And 'Batman Vs. Superman'

Quote:
Then, things got even more interesting when Alexander answered a question about her reactions to the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman for Batman vs. Superman. She explained her respect for Affleck’s acting talent and how suitable she thinks he is for the role, asking that fans not be so quick to criticize the actor and instead to remember the misplaced skepticism regarding Michael Keaton’s casting as Batman nearly 25 years ago. The rest of the panel agreed with her assessment, by the way, as did the vast majority of fans in attendance when the panelists asked for a show of hands from the audience. Alexander went on to say followed that up by saying her confidence in Affleck’s casting is bolstered by the fact he is so suited for the particular Batman portrayal in the film — and her reason for that certainty is, as she put it, she “kind of knows the story line for that movie.”

So, by the end of the panel, we’d heard that Jaimie Alexander had had conversations with both Marvel and WB regarding their superhero movies, and that she knows things about the Batman vs. Superman film. What might that mean, exactly? Well, the obvious speculation is that she was approached for some sort of role in the WB super-team film, and the role that immediately comes to everyone’s mind is Wonder Woman. After all, Alexander demonstrated how perfect she’d be as the world’s most famous female superhero when she took on the role of Sif in the Thor franchise. She has the acting chops, she’s got the right look, and she has the personality, and we’ve seen her in armor swinging a sword to cut a path through an army of villains. Could it be that WB approached her about the role?

I just want to see a scene where various politicians are trying to deport Wonder
Woman back to Paradise Island, and hundred of women of all shapes and sizes,
colors, ethnic backgrounds, etc. pouring into the capital wearing Wonder woman
outfits, T-shirts, carrying flags, etc. all chanting in unison, "Let her be."

I think this should be the trailer for the movie.

No. I don't need to see Hillary Clinton in a Wonder Woman bustier.

I'm withdrawing my vote for Jaimie Alexander. She carries herself well, but she doesn't have the near perfect features needed for Wonder Woman.

Hugh Jackman was too tall and not Canadian enough to play Wolverine. He did fine. Let's treat WW as a role and not a living Barbie doll.

Not when it comes to saying Jaimie Alexander isn't the hottest broad alive. No you just can't. :snooty:

She has a nostril issue.

It's the pointy elbows of her face.

Also, her tits aren't the size of cantaloupes. How am I supposed to think of her as a hero when she's missing a key characteristic?

WW must have her Orbs of Justice. They take care of all the heavy duty acting.

Chest muscles are an important part of Wonder Woman character.

I don't think the mammory glands are considered muscle.

The Doctor of the King of France wrote:
The reasons why the breasts of women are on the chest, whereas other animals more often have them elsewhere, are of three kinds. First, the chest is a noble, notable and chaste place and thus they can be decently shown. Secondly, warmed by the heart, they return their warmth to it so that this organ strengthens itself. The third reason applies only to big breasts which, by covering the chest, warm, cover and strengthen the stomach.

See, people? They are there for protection. And Wonder Woman should need protection; she's a warrior.

It's science.
