This looks really nice. Wish it included the soundtrack from The Long Riders movie, from 1980

I only own the Rhino 2-CD anthology and "Bop Till You Drop" on LP, and I've wanted to explore deeper into his catalog. This looks like a no-brainer purchase for me, even though I don't expect anything other than basic packaging like the ZZ Top box set. For the price, though, it can't be beat.

The work Ry did with Captain Beefheart was brilliant back in 1967. Sadly that did not continue.

I recently purchased this set from AmazWAN UK, along with the new "Soundtracks" Ry Cooder box.

Upon close inspection, three of the discs ("Into The Purple Valley", "Boomer's Story", and "Bop Till You Drop") appear cloudy, or filmy, on the shiny silver side of the disc. So far, they play OK, but I am afraid this may be the start of "CD Rot".

Anyone else get this box, or having the same issue?

NOTE: The problem also is happening with the "Blue City" disc in the "Soundtracks" box, where the playing side is completely filmed over
