I saw that too. Fred posted on his Facebook page that he was done touring and then Cindy followed up on her page saying that although they were ironing the details, the band would not continue. I expect an official announcement will follow.

I'm not seeing anything on this... not even on the aforementioned Fred Schneider or Cindy Wilson Facebook pages. There's a brief mention in Schneider's Twitter feed about not touring, but that's it. Any more substantial links?

They must have deleted the comments. Although this isn't meant to be official, I saw Fred's statement that he was through touring but wished the band the best, and then Cindy posted a reaction comment on her page addressing the comment and clearly stating this was the end of the band. Maybe they felt it was best not to air it this way and deleted them. I do know I saw them last night.

Thanks for the article. Makes a lot of sense, and it sounds like there will be still be the occasional one-off performance/event. Can't believe Kate Pierson is 65!
