Before Bad Brains, the Sex Pistols or even the Ramones, there was a band called Death. Punk before punk existed, three teenage brothers in the early '70s formed a band in their spare bedroom, began playing a few local gigs and even pressed a single in the hopes of getting signed. But this was the era of Motown and emerging disco. Watched this over the weekend. Pretty cool story. I loved how the brothers were very close to a deal but the label wanted them to change their name and the brother who was the musical visionary of the three said no.

Definitely worth checking out.

I watched this on Amazon Prime the other night. Great story. I bought the CD "...For the Whole World to See". It kicks ass.

There is also a band called 'Death' who were a metal band. I had an album of theirs issued in 1987 called 'Scream Bloody Gore' it's true. Played it loud to piss of the neighbours who I hated.
