It's certainly good that some stuff is starting to become available in higher resolutions, but the whole thing is happening way too slowly. The industry seems to want to wean us off of CDs, but doing so when they're only offering MP3s on a broad scale is not an acceptable solution. Not that it's the measure of all things important quality-wise, but until the entire Billboard 200 albums chart is available in at least 16/44 downloads, I'm not going to be satisfied with downloading as a viable option. Frankly, I'd like to see the higher resolutions, like up to 24-192, available on all titles.

I mentioned this one in a different thread a few days ago. Good to see HD Tracks having real competition. Wish the price would come down.

Another batch out today. Unfortunately, I have learned the BDP-95 will not read raw DFF & DSF files, though apparently the 103 & 105 will (per AP).

It's a shame; the dl's are still too pricy, but they're a few bucks cheaper than the discs & no shipping.
