Some additional information from their webstore:

Quote:
Made Up Mind is the highly anticipated follow-up to TTB's Grammy-winning debut Revelator and last year’s scorching live collection, Everybody’s Talkin’. Through unparalleled musicianship and a timeless, authentic sound, Made Up Mind proves that TTB is fast becoming a band for the ages.

Most tracks on the album were penned by Tedeschi and Trucks along with an extraordinary, extended family of musicians. Co-produced by Jim Scott and Trucks, and engineered by Bobby Tis, Made Up Mind demonstrates the full power of the band from the album's first notes on the title track.

From there it delivers on the versatility and genre-defying musical excellence that this 11-piece juggernaut has come to be known for — from "Part of Me, a classic southern soul groove straight out of Muscle Shoals, to the über-funky "Misunderstood" that showcases Tedeschi's serious lung power and the poignant ballad "It's So Heavy" that reveals her softer side. Trucks has indisputably matured into one of the finest guitarists of our time, tearing up barburners like "The Storm" with his masterful slide and lead lines while showcasing his easier, more subtle touch on the bluesy “Do I Look Worried”. TTB fans will also be glad to know that everybody in the band gets a chance to shine here - there are no weak links in this true group achievement.

What a great show! Both bands were in excellent form, but for my money Tedeschi Trucks owned the night. What an incredible band. For an encore they brought out the lead singer from London Souls, who opened the night, but I missed. They did "I Got a Feeling". What I found funny is that as powerful of a singer Tedeschi is, see speaks so softly.

Listening to the CD now. So soulful & bluesy...exactly what we've come to expect. Can't wait to play this a few more times.
