I would love to see Brainiac, but I'm not sure that an extraterrestrial villain would be smart after this first movie. Hanzo, since you have seen the movie, is Kandor a possibility for this franchise given what happens to Krypton? Just a yes or no - no specifics, please.

I'm fairly certain that it'll be Brainiac and Luthor in 2. Luthor enters the picture and Brainiac is the Kryptonian connection for the next film.
and it'll be Doomsday in 3 because they'll go with him being created on Krypton and getting shot out into space etc. and he lands on Earth. big death and back to life end for the trilogy.

The steampunk Skeets that folllowed Jor-El around had me thinking of the Brainiac from the Timm series.
Luthor/Brainiac in the next one, then the return of Faora + Darkseid in the Superman/JLA movie.
