Product Description
Blood, Sweat & Tears, lead by singer David Clayton-Thomas, are probably the most well known pop horn band of the 1970s. They had numerous charting albums in that decade, including two # 1's. We have assembled the rarest material they ever recorded onto one compact disc. The highlight of this CD is music they recorded for the soundtrack from the movie The Owl & The Pussycat. The soundtrack recordings are making their worldwide CD debut.

I wonder if the Owl and the Pussycat material will be free of the dialogue excerpts that marred the soundtrack?

I haven't heard the soundtrack, but I listened to this last night, and I don't remember any dialog. The material from the movie was much better than I expected. Nice stuff.

Overall, this was nicely done. It's mastered pretty loud, but the sound quality is pretty good otherwise.

Thanks Greg. BS&T were one of my first musical loves and this has just gone to the top of my Must Buy list.

If you're a big fan and you don't have the Owl and the Pussycat soundtrack stuff, I think you're going to be glad you have this, Glenn.

I can confirm that the OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT soundtrack as released on Wounded Bird's new RARE, RARER & RAREST, is indeed free of dialogue, and also contains some previously unreleased extras from the soundtrack sessions.
