Really excited about this one. The last two albums they've done have been mindblowers. Will be waiting for an Amazon link, as shipping from Burning Shed is generally quite pricey (but they do package well and ship quickly).

All Is One is Orphaned Land's fifth studio album.

Singer Kobi Farhi describes the album as follows, "I'll say it plain and simple, All Is One is Orphaned Land's best album so far. I feel that we took all aspects to a new level - the way we write, arrange, play and produce. We recorded the album in 3 countries (Turkey, Sweden and Israel) and it turned out so strong, we can't stop listening to it. The album is very rich in sound with more than 40 people participating (choirs, violins, and many traditional instruments, too). Our secret recipe was always the fact that unlike many other bands, Orphaned Land doesn't follow one master mind that writes everything, we work in a way that All Is One."

CD:
1. All Is One
2. The Simple Man
3. Brother
4. Let The Truce Be Known
5. Through Fire And Water
6. Fail
7. Freedom
8. Shama'im
9. Ya Benaye
10. Our Own Messiah
11. Children

Bonus tracks

12. As I Stare At The Ocean Alone
13. All Is One (Turkish version)
14. Children (Arabic Chorus version)

DVD (Region 0 NTSC 16:9):
Includes a 30 minute plus making of documentary with band interviews and footage from the studio, two studio clips for two All Is One tracks. and four live video art clips (for songs from ORwarriOR).

I know there are many Steven Wilson fans on this board. And I'm such of big fan of Orphaned Land, I'll use any tactics I can turn people onto this band...so here goes...

BTW, Steven Wilson mixed Orphaned Land's previous album, The Never Ending Way of ORwarriOR.

Latest video from "All Is One."

I've had this album for awhile now and I have to say it's slightly disappointing. Still a good record, I'd probably give it a 7 or 7.5 on a 10 scale which would be good for most bands. But after the last two albums that this band released, both of which would probably rank among my favorite 30 albums released in the last 20 years, a 7 on a 10 scale is somewhat of a ho-hum effort.

If you are looking to check out Orphaned Land, I'd recommend "Mabool" or "The Never Ending Way of ORwarrriOR" instead of this one. "Mabool" seems to be the favorite among Orphaned Land fans. However, if you are not a fan of death metal vocals you may want to start with "All Is One." There are very few if any vocals that I would categorize as death vocals on this album, whereas they played a pretty significant role in the other albums (those albums featured a mix of both clean and death metal vocals).
