Another one I can't wait for and these guys have gotten bigger since the debut album was released. Dave Grohl is on the 1st single "Secular Haze" which I guess shows he's a fan and how big they've gotten.

And here's the other new song so far a cover of ABBA's "I'm A Marionette"! Seriously! This may make the album or end up as a bonus track. The singing is so good. Sure, Ghost are basically a combo of King Diamond and Blue Oyster Cult and Deep Purple and look like Satanic Popes-what's the problem?

And in case anyone cares (and I hope someone does because these guys are not only creepy but seriously good and creative) here's their version of The Beatles' "Here Comes The Sun" which was a Japanese only bonus cut on the debut album.

I dig these guys. I saw them open for Mastodon and Opeth last year. They project the Satanic image thing, but it came across as a bit campy and put-on to me. May be legitimate, but it felt like a put-on at times. I do get a kick out of everybody but the singer being known as Unidentified Servant or whatever.

Swedish heavy metal outfit Ghost have been forced to change their name to GHOST B.C. in the U.S. due to legal reasons.
This, however, has not put the band off from confirming the Stateside release date of upcoming sophomore album 'Infestissumam', which will be released on April 9th via Loma Vista Recordings.
'Infestissumam' tracklisting:
1. Infestissumam 2. Per Aspera Ad Inferi 3. Secular Haze 4. Jigolo Har Megiddo 5. Ghuleh / Zombie Queen 6. Year Zero 7. Idolatrine 8. Body And Blood 9. Depth Of Satans Eyes 10. Monstrance Clock
Ghost B.C. have also confirmed their 'Haze Over North America 2013' tour.

I know this will fall on deaf ears (except for Alan's), but this is a stunning performance of the new song "Secular Haze" in Hi-Def from an overseas TV broadcast.
I don't think the audience have a clue what it is happening!

Not sure if I'll get to go when they're here - I'd like to, but I think the date falls in the middle of a bunch of other stuff.
I did take this opportunity to listen to their cover of "Here Comes The Sun". I thought it was pretty cool.
I was the only one in my house who thought so.
I played that cover for my best friend last night and she loves The Beatles so I thought she'd hate it, but she really liked the arrangement and thought they sounded like Blue Oyster Cult. Any wonder she's my best friend?

Oh yeah-we also hope to see them May 12 in Philly and my best friend's husband who I also consider a friend despite his ghastly farting-wants to go as well. I just hope I can swing going to the show because these guys are something to see.

It doesn't say promo anywhere on the disc or packaging. I think it's an early Record Store Day giveaway.
I so badly want the "Here Comes The Sun" cover on Cd, but it's only the Japanese import. I keep thinking now that they're popular the debut will get reissued w/ extra tracks (it's pretty short anyway at 35 minutes) and that will be one of them. That Beatles cover is great.

Updated release date-it's out this week. Also, Alan-where did you get it today and how much? I saw Best Buy had it at 9.99 online but I don't know if I trust them having it in-store.
