That's probably not the accepted term, but hopefully you know what I mean.
Sometimes when I run I like to listen to these songs. I have a few on my running playlist now: Die MF Die/Dope; Crazy Bitch/Buckcherry; Indestructible/Disturbed. I would like to build an hour long or so playlist of similar songs.
Any suggestions on where to start?

I thought Smiff thought Manilow was just an interloping whippersnapper, and that he yearned for the days of Scott Joplin.
Anyway, I like Dethklok - Hatredcopter, Birthday Dethday, Awaken, Thunderhorse, Bloodrocuted and Face Fisted from the first album are uptempo. I Ejaculate Fire and Crush The Industry from the third album come to mind.
Mastodon has the heavy, but not always the tempo. Meshuggah is a bit mathmetal, so I don't know if that would work for you. I like Nightmare from Avenged Sevenfold, and Crying Like A Bitch from Godsmack. Some Rob Zombie might be good, too - Thunderkiss '65, Educated Horses (more upper midtempo).

UNITED! UNITED!
West Ham United fight song.
If you like Dave Grohl, you should check out his metal project Probot.
Buckcherry has a song called Lit or Lit Up that's pretty decent. Korn also has some fast-paced hard stuff, like Right Now, Blind and Falling Away From Me. A couple of fast-paced Wolfmother songs I like are Woman, Sundial, Joker & the Thief, and 10,000 Feet. Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave both have awesome stuff... from Rage, get Calm Like a Bomb, Wake Up, and Bulls on Parade. Audioslave, get Revelations, Cochise and Original Fire.
Uh... what else?
Smashing Pumpkins have some fast-paced stuff like Bullet with Butterfly Wings, Quiet, and Everlasting Gaze. Soundgarden has some awesome stuff, try Spoonman, Superunknown and My Wave. Alice in Chains, try We Die Young, Would?, and Again.
And obviously, there's Metallica. Based on the songs you listed, it seems like you're into harder alternative than true metal... if you want something more poppy, go with I Disappear, Fuel and Wherever I May Roam. If you're looking for real metal, go with Master of Puppets, Seek and Destroy, and For Whom the Bell Tolls.
He said contemporary. Some of that stuff is 20 years old or more. Classic rock.
All Nightmare Long and Cyanide and My Apocalypse by Metallica BYOB and Chop Suey! by System of a Down Bat Country and Beast and the Harlot by Avenged Sevenfold Psychosocial by Sipknot Die, All Right! and Hate to Say I Told You So by The Hives Dead! by My Chemical Romance The Kill by 30 Seconds to Mars Megalomaniac by Incubus 1901 by Phoenix
My collection is probably about 75% metal but I really don't listen to much of what you describe as contempory. But this is something that may appeal to you:
