Encore Pressing. Cardboard sleeve reissue box set from Eagles featuring seven original albums plus a single "Please Come Home for Christmas / Funky New Year" in the high-fidelity SHM-CD format (fully compatible with standard CD players). Also features cardboard sleeve replicas of the original US LP album jackets, including poster, inner bag, etc. Uses the latest remaster audio. Comes with lyrics and a description. Included album titles: "Eagles," "Desperado," "On The Border," "One Of These Nights," "Hotel California," "The Long Run," and "Eagles Live."

Too bad this set doesn't have a CD or two of rarities to go along with the official releases, something that's been done in similar sets by other artists.

they used "get you on the mood" on the showtime doc, yet it has still never been officially released on CD anywhere in the world.

The domestic version of this box set was printed in comparable quality with its Japanese counterpart, which is quite unusual! :)
