The former guitarist for the Allman Brothers Band, Gregg Allman Band and Dickey Betts’ Great Southern group – died today at age 65, according to Gregg Allman Band mate and close friend Chaz Trippy. Toler was battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease http://www.ticketsarasota.com/2013-02-2 ... -sarasota/

Sorry to hear the sad news, Enlightened Rogues is one of my favorite ABB albums.

I saw the band a few times in the late 1970s and really enjoyed Dan's playing. Sorry to hear about this.

Very sad, especially since his brother (another former ABB member) David Toler passed away less than two years ago.
65 is too young. Maybe he's up there jamming with the other Brothers who are no longer with us.

Saw Dan at the first Experience PRS in 2007 - what a tasteful player, and he seemed like a great guy. Way too young.
