I am. I plan on buying a ticket for something else and then going in to see Ender's Game.

Matt and I have come up with a clever scheme, where we purchase tickets to a different movie and then go sneak in to see Ender's Game instead. GENIUS!

Yeah, I refuse to shop at Walmart because of their policies toward employees, so I just shoplift the stuff I want from them.

Am I costing the film studio money? Sure. Don't care. Am I costing the local theater money? Nope. I'm fine with that.

So, you're anti-bigotry and pro-theft. Got it.

Hey, you asked, I answered. I'm not saying I'm an awesome person or that I'm doing the "right" thing. I'm finding a way to get what I want (seeing Ender's Game) that prevents what I don't want (my putting money in Orson Scott Card's pocket) while screwing as few people as possible.

Considering I've also illegally downloaded comics, music, television shows, and movies, I'm not going to feel too many qualms about my approach to this.

Isn't there also the possibility that the tickets we would be purchasing instead would be for a movie released from the same studio? I mean, who are we screwing in that situation? It isn't theft. It is the equivalent of paying for one item, but taking a different item that costs the exact same amount.

I'm going to steal Hanzo's puppy next and snuggle him on a bed made out of money that I've also stolen from Hanzo.

The actors.
The screenwriter.
The director.

All of whom will receive smaller royalties checks because of your short-sighted selfish behavior.

Hey, fair enough. I can't say I actually care or am genuinely offended. I just find the whole thing quite amusing.

Quite.

Maybe you should feed them to the actors, screenwriters, producers, and director who will have to move into a homeless shelter BECAUSE OF YOU.
