The release will be supported by new movie, The Blueblack Hussar, produced by The Klaxons bassist Jamie Reynolds. Ant and his latest incarnation, Adam Ant and The Good, the Mad and the Lovely Posse are also taking in a sell-out tour of America, fresh from their successful tour of Australia. A full UK tour gets underway on 1st November in Glasgow and ends up in London on 30th November at a sold out Shepherds Bush Empire.

I really enjoyed the Adam & The Ants stuff as well as the earlier solo albums. I'm not sure though what he could do to interest me again. I'm very skeptical at this point.

Adam Ant has reportedly been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

The former Adam & The Ants singer, who suffers from bipolar disorder, has been hospitalised and is currently receiving treatment in the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, reports The Music Fix.

The news comes only a week after the singer told a church congregation to 'fuck off' during charity gig.

"Ant fans - please send me postcards at the Chelsea & Westminster hospital, Fulham Road," Ant said in a statement. "Please don't come down here as it may upset the staff who have been really pleasant."

He added: "I am having a well earned rest at Her Majesty's Pleasure and am painting and continuing being an art student. I have a great view and am considering gigs later in the year."

Adam Ant, whose real name is Stuart Goddard, was previously sectioned in 2003.

I can say the new material was very good in concert last month!

Trying to decide which is stranger, the cover or the title...

OK-got this for my wife and it's OK. Certainly not what you'd expect and heavy at times, weird at others. If you're looking for vintage Adam Ant or Adam And The Ants forget it. But, it does have some strong points and is not at all an artist relying on his past.

The new songs we saw him play live last year are similar here in terms of playing and arranging.The album made the UK Top 25 but did not chart here-no surprise. Also, the album cover sucks out loud.

Someone needs to be a good friend and tell Adam that it's time to ditch the pirate garb. It used to work, but now it just makes him look puffy....borderline fat.
