Only Jim could take Brian Eno and Al Green and roll them so effortlessly into a funky hybrid of his own. These songs aren't really in the MMJ neighborhood, so I understand the side project. So far, one of the finest efforts from 2013's first quarter; this album is a winner from start to finish. First Patterson Hood, now Jim - WOW!

Finally gave this album a couple listens over the weekend and today. There's a jazzy, spiritual feel here, though completely accessible. I like that the material doesn't make this another My Morning Jacket release. As Rock'n'Roll Elitist mentioned above, it's a winner from start to finish.
