Spanning 5CDs, a DVD and a massive 52 remastered tracks, UFO ‘At The BBC’ collects together all of the legendary group’s BBC appearances from their first session with Bob Harris in 1974 through to their epic live set at Knebworth in June 1985.
Accompanying the 5CDs is a DVD presenting UFO’s various BBC TV appearances (all previously unreleased), beginning with 2 tracks from the Old Grey Whistle Test from January 1979, continuing with 4 Top Of The Pops appearances from 1979-1982 and culminating with 3 performances from the Oxford Road Show, 29th January 1982.
The 5CDs and DVD of UFO ‘At The BBC’ come housed in a clamshell box, with each disc presented in individual wallets and accompanied with a booklet featuring a brand new interview with Phil Mogg (co-founder and lead vocalist) and Paul Raymond (keyboardist/vocalist).

This set cleans up a lot of partially previously released sets from the "BBC Radio 1 In Concert", and the BBC "In Session and Live In Concert" CDs that were previously also available in more complete form as MP3 downloads, as well as the download only 7th disc from the previous "Official Bootleg" box set.
Nice to have these on a proper CD format even though it is another complete duplication of previous purchases for me.
The Feb 4th 1980 set was included in the "Chrysalis Years Vol 2" set but was split over 2 discs as bonus tracks for two albums and the mastering was different for each set of tracks when looking at the waves on my PC, so hopefully this is corrected on this release.
CD#4 however, is completly unneccessary as it is a duplicate of one of the discs in the "Official Bootleg" box.

I preordered this to complete my collection, but It would have been nice to get some complete shows that the live bonus tracks on the last batch of remasters came from, such as the Marquee 11/15&16/80, Hammersmith Odeon 1/29/81, Oxford 3/26/83, Birmingham 3/26/83, and also the complete King Biscuit show from St Louis 1982! Maybe another Bootleg Box someday...Please ! What about a complete "Strangers Tapes" box set!!!!!
