The Next Doctor has my nod.Cybermen in a snowy cemetery, another "Doctor",the slidshow of past Doctors, and a giant steampunk Cyberking. For some reason, putting the Doctor in the Victorian age always produces something special.

I still stand by last years decision! :) I thought The Snowmen was a very good episode though, much better than last year. the new opening title sequence was fantastic too!

However, the new Tardis console room may be the lamest ever and that saddens me. they had the very best ever and now perhaps--to me---the very worst.

Agree about the Tardis. It is a bit too much of a light show.

Gack, I love them all. The Next Doctor hits so many spots and is the line between madness and magic - supposing the madman with a box is really a mad man with someone else's memories? Plus the T.A.R.D.I.S. is fantastic.

I very much enjoyed the Snowmen. Top notch Who, plus Victorian stuff again. Always good.

I ranked Next doctor as one of the worst, I think because I just couldn't stand the Cybermen anymore at the time and that kid at the end looked freaky as hell--like a weird puppet of some sort. >shudder< I did like the concept of that one though as well as the showing of all the previous doctors. Always love that.

I have to watch all of them before I make a judgement, but right now my money is on The Doctor, The Widow, and The Wardrobe. Wonderful homage to the OTHER "Jack" who died the same day Doctor Who began.

I very much liked the look on the Doctor's face as he explained that he had "fixed" things. Also, cheetahs.

I like the one where he goes back to 1965 and replaces Charlie Brown's sad little Christmas tree with an amazingly lush and full little tree.

Watch that special again. See if that tree doesn't mysteriously regenerate into a different tree.

Ahhhhhhhhhh. Understandably confused. I wondered if that might not be the case but neither C. nor S. lead to "Jack" as a nickname.

Huh. He died the day Kennedy was assassinated. Another "Jack" connection.

In Shadowlands Anthony Hopkins as Lewis said that Jack sounded better than Clive. Since Jack Kennedy was the obvious celebrity who died on the day Doctor Who premiered, Lewis was the "other Jack." I put "Jack" in quotation marks because it wasn't an obvious nickname.

My favorites are The Next Doctor,The Snowmen, and my pick this time,The Time Of The Doctor.Matt Smith's swansong, watching as his Doctor aged, his scene with Handles, made it a real Christmas treat..
