So what gifts have you purchased?
Have you received any yet?

For my mom - a Kindle, a case, and a $50 AmazWAN gift card
For my brother - a banjo! and a cool Nightmare Before Christmas t-shirt
For my baby niece - Dora toys and a princess castle
For Matt - It's a secret, duh!
For my teenage niece - a copy of Local by Brian Wood
For my 11 year old nephew - first trade of nu52 Justice League
For my 10 year old niece - first 2 books of the colored edition of Bone

The only gift I've received so far was from our Secret Santa gift exchange at work.
A super cute cupcake hat!

Cool that you bought comics for your relatives!

Lori made cookies for our kids' teachers and got a Starbucks gift basket for the bus driver.

Our kids are getting a Kinect attachment for the Xbox and a Nickelodeon dance game. My son's getting Lego Batman II. Lori got a remote start and keyless entry mod for her van. What I'm getting is a complete mystery ... I didn't even ask for anything. Oh yeah, my mother in law's getting me Homeland Season 1 on DVD. She didn't know what to get me, so I suggested something. Looking forward to watching it.

Oh, and Lori and I are getting ourselves a bigger TV for downstairs and moving that TV upstairs for the kids. We're blowing my Dark Horse Comics money on that.

I love that hat! :D

I have gotten no gifts yet, altho I know what I am getting from my mother. I have also done no shopping, except for the Secret Santa. It is one of those years.

I have nearly all of my Christmas shopping done. For my oldest niece I bought a book of poetry that I had liked when I was growing up and thought she'd like. A few days later I learned from Mom that she had actually requested that book. Nice to know I can still at least partially read her mind.

I'm hoping my oldest niece will like Local. She is kinda troubled, and recently lost her father. I'm hoping some of the themes in the book will ring true to her, and maybe help her take a look at the things going on in her own life.

My daughter is getting a mini donut maker and an iPod Touch. Plus a few small things for her stocking.
My brother is getting Assassins Creed 3 and The Dark Knight Trilogy Blu-ray set. Plus a Terry's Chocolate Orange for his stocking.
My dad is getting a gift Tim Card from Tim Hortons. Plus I have to figure out what he'd want in his stocking.
The neighbours beside my dad are getting a box of about 100 old comics for their kids.
Various friends are getting various gifts, mostly movies or gift cards. Some bought already and some I'm still scrambling for.

One friend got me a light up mini Bat-Signal toy.
Another friend got me 3 different kinds of fruit cake because I may have hinted how much I like fruit cake.
A friend gave me a scarf she hand knitted.

I've eaten three or four chocolate oranges so far this year. I'm hoping I'll end up with one in my stocking as well.

I have all my main gifts bought and they just need to be wrapped, which I usually do at the last minute. Big year for gifts this year since I made so much $$ in OT.

iPads for everyone I say!

I'm feeling more confident with my choice to get my mom a Kindle. It turns out she's been doing a lot of reading, and has started ordering books from Amazon regularly.
So, yay!

Michael's X-Box with Kinect and two games bundle has been aquired!!

With purchase came a $30 Target gift card which will go towards Batman: Arkham City.

Didn't think it was going to happen....everyone has been out of stock on this thing, and I popped into the Hampton Target this morning on the way back from Norfolk....THERE IT WAS!!

I almost cried right there in the store.

Matt has opened all of his gifts from me, I have opened most of my gifts from him (some are still in transit)

I got an awesome hardcover edition of the works of Raymond Carver (my favorite author), including stories discovered posthumously and manuscript versions of some of his stories.
And a movie theater sized Blade Runner poster, framed and everything! :runjoy:
