Then Die Hard.

"Now I have a machine gun. Ho, ho, ho" Sums up everything great about Christmas.

I KNOW, RIGHT?!?!?!?

to be fair, I tend to think of it more as a Halloween movie than a Christmas movie, but that's just kinda splitting hairs.
The good thing about that, though, is that it can be watched October - December, as it is seasonally appropriate.
And then it can be watched January - September just because it is awesome.

Tough choice between:
It's A Wonderful Life ('46)
Miracle On 34th. Street ('47)

My favorite "Scrooge" movie is actually the 1938 version: A Christmas Carol.

Christmas in Connecticut is another good one.
Of course, The Nightmare Before Christmas, too.

I wouldn't have any trouble placing "Miracle" second, but it's certainly a great film too.

You really can't beat It's a Wonderful Life. 34th Street comes in a close second though.

It's a Wonderful Life. I think I'll watch Die Hard with my oldest son again this year, or maybe the second one, since he hasn't seen it yet.

The second Die Hard gets a lot of flak because it was written by someone who has never, ever being in an airport, but I like it a lot. Not as much as the first one, obviously, but it's a fun ride.

Anyone who didn't vote for A Christmas Story is just wrong. :sigh:
