Wow! According to seconddisc.com: Rage Against the Machine has been fully remastered for these anniversary releases entitled XX. All three CD configurations include the original album and three live bonus tracks (all originally released on singles) on one disc. CD 2, available in the 2-CD/1-DVD and 2-CD/2-DVD/1-LP editions, includes the original Rage Against the Machine demo tape. These recordings, originally sold for five bucks at the band’s early performances, helped secure the band a contract with Epic. This disc marks the first time these demos have been released in their entirety. The first DVD included in the Deluxe Box Set fast-forwards to 2010 and Rage’s free concert in London’s Finsbury Park on June 2010. Twelve music videos (some never commercially released and one previously unissued) plus ten performances from a 1997 video compilation (never before available in DVD format) round out the DVD. The box set’s second DVD spotlights live performances from the band’s early days (1991-1994) including Rage’s first public performance at Cal State North Ridge on October 23, 1991, and a further ten performances, all of which are previously unissued. Rage Against the Machine’s XX is available in all editions on November 27. Chuck D has provided new liner notes for the releases. I'm so in for this! I'll spring for this 2-CD/2-DVD/1-LP editions if that what it takes to get all DVD footage.

Rick A. What an awesome package for what is easily one of the most groundbreaking records ever and certainly in the 90's. I saw these guys in 1993 at Lollapalooza and they were phenomenal. Tom Morello is very inventive and damn good-much better than you would ever figure from the noise of Rage. But his work with Audioslave (whom I also saw) and as The Nightwatchman is proof of his genius. His solo on "Like A Stone" still gives me chills. I really want to get this but I'm sure I can't due to price.

I couldn't care less about live footage, so the cheapest way for me to get the demo CD is the way for me!

Got the 2CD/1 DVD edition in the mail and I know I'm being picky, but I hate oversized CD packaging that won't fit in my cabinets - and this is such a package.

I picked up the single cd version since i wasnt interested in the demos or dvd. To my amateur ears they maximized this one to head crushing levels. Very similar to the Nevermind remaster which to me was very disappointing. I went back to the original cd for my commute this morning and it sounds much better. I'm sticking with the original.

I picked up the 2CD/1DVD Special Edition. Man, I forgot how great this album is, what a marrige of hard rock & shouting rap lyrics. This will be in heavy rotation in my house.
