Any episode that doesn't rip off A Christmas Carol. Correction:with the exception of Blackadder's Christmas Carol. It's funnier than the original.

Straying from the topic slightly... About a decade ago, I watched a made for TV movie called The Christmas Tree directed by Sally Field. In the movie a man was sent out by Rockefeller Center to find the perfect tree and found it owned by an elderly nun played by Julie Harris. She refused to let him cut it despite weeks of him trying to convince her. It turned out that the tree had played an important part in different stages of her life, all of which were very touching. In the end, she reveals the one memory that has stayed with her since a little child and she changes her mind. And I cried like a baby. Perfect for family viewing and highly recommended.

Married With Children "It's a Bunderful Life". Sam Kinison as Al's "Guardian Angel" was classic.

That early B&W Gilligan X-Mas episode was cool. I think the Beverly Hillbillie's could always be depended on for some good one's as well.

There's also an episode where Bill Mumy plays an orphan who wants a family for Christmas that is really good.
I would pick that episode for the win.

The South Park Christmas musical special is really very good. Some of the songs are genius, such as "Christmastime in Hell."

Another favorite is the episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Cheryl makes the gingerbread nativity for her Christian family and Larry eats the baby Jesus causing a clash with her family.

I try to watch that every year around Christmas. It never fails to make me laugh.

VIDEO Sepia-toned (for some reason) and sped-up but I think this is my favorite Xmas episode ever (just realized that I hate the title, though).
