From that interview it sounds like he will probably be releasing the music digitally and then release a physical cd in 2014.

John Oates is releasing his "Good Road To Follow" monthly digital singles project on cd in Japan,

The Japanese version will be called "Stand Strong" and according to that link will be released in Japan on 10/23/13.

5 of those songs have been released as digital singles: Stand Strong, High Maintenance, DON`T CROSS ME WRONG, LET`S DRIVE and this month's digital single: PUSHING A ROCK UPHILL. A live version of "Save Me" can be found on youtube.


No word on a U.S. release yet though I've think I've seen February on some of the fan message boards.


Amazon will be selling it as an import for $51.38 on 10/29.

John's interview starts around the 31 minute mark.

He released 6 digital singles in 2013. He said he's releasing 3 EPs in 2014.


March 2014- Good Road To Follow- Route 1- a pop oriented EP
June 2014- Good Road to Follow- Route 2- An Americana oriented EP
Sept 2014-Good Road to Follow- Route 3- A Blues oriented EP


Plus. it looks like Hall and Oates will record at least one single in 2014.
