Bad idea, especially since film preserves the old acts.Comparing the imitators against the originals, the imitators are bound to look bad.

I can't understand the thinking at all.

I originally heard the Three Stooges movie was going to be a biopic and was fairly interested. When I saw that it was a revival, I immediately lost all interest.

My vote is for 'not.'

Same. I'd have watched a biopic.

There was a biopic made in 2000,a TV movie that had Michael Chiklis as Curly and Mel Gibson (!) as executive producer.I remember it being pretty good.

I watched a clip of that Chiklis bit and they did a great job. But then, the material was already written.

But in general, I say no.

I could watch some new episodes of Mack and Myer for Hire.

Biopics are okay, as long as they're well-done.

My kids and wife LOVE the new Three Stooges. My six year old, who has been watching the Stooges for most of his life, has rewatched the film several times and it has given him a great deal of enjoyment. I say go for it.

I've never heard of The Brain Doaners before. But I enjoyed the preview and I think I am going to have to check this movie out.

No thanks, not a fan of biopics. If there was a straight Stooges revival with new actors, then I'd be interested.

No thanks. If there was a new movie with the same name, only it was a snarky, self-aware send-up of the original material that was neither as funny as the original, but not truly different from it -- I would go for that.

You hear that, Hollywood? TAKE OUR MONEY.

But of course, they would never do something that awesome.

I liked the new Three Stooges and I didn't have the problem with it that I would have with a new Laurel and Hardy or a new Marx Brothers.

Poor F. Murray Abraham. He deserves better.
