http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009DJB7UQ/?tag=imwan-20Bought this recently and got a chance to crank this up over the weekend and glad to report that this is a definite a winner!
This was an expense Japanese only release for awhile and now we have a U.S. release offered by Varse Saradande.
Somewhat like "Works" but different and better in my book. I always had a soft spot for "Trilogy" and my especially "The Endless Enigma" suite so I was immediately interested in this CD and the reworking of this title is marvelous.
So is "Tarkus", fantastic presentation. No vocals on this or other interpretations on the album even though Marc is a very good singer. They chose not to replace Greg Lake's lead which I thought was an excellent idea. This allows the album to be unique and fresh.
Strongly recommended for ELP fans and even casual ones as well.
