Continuing in strict chronological order, if you're a 'Sups fan, you know what's up next! Details are sparse right now, but it has been confirmed that the next release, the Supremes' February 1966 LP "I Hear A Symphony" has just left the pressing plant and is scheduled to drop on October 9, 2012. A release originally designed to cater to the adults as well as the kids, it's a mixed bag containing MOR standards ("Wonderful, Wonderful," "Stranger In Paradise," "Yesterday," "Unchained Melody," etc.) as well as the #5 Pop hit "My World Is Empty Without You" and the #1 Pop smash title track.
More info as it comes in. There are no ordering links as of yet.
(P.S. Sorry Walter. I know you'd like to see Hip-O do something other than Motown titles. But if the Supremes discography weren't in such utter disarray, they might be able to concentrate on something else. -
