deluxe (Blu-ray + DVD + 2CD) now available for pre-order

info.....
Get All You Deserve, is a new high definition audio-visual set from Steven Wilson.

Filmed in Mexico City, and directed by long-time visual collaborator Lasse Hoile, during the recent Grace For Drowning Tour, the set captures the spectacular live experience that Wilson and Hoile created for the tour on Blu-ray, DVD and 2CD.

Steven Wilson is a twice Grammy-nominated producer, writer and performer, best known as founder and front man of British rock band Porcupine Tree. He has also produced and /or mixed albums for artists as diverse as Swedish metal band Opeth, Norwegian chanteuse Anja Garbarek, and progressive rock institutions King Crimson and Jethro Tull. He also co-wrote and sang a track from Pendulum's number one album Immersion. Porcupine Tree's last album was a top 30 album in both the UK and USA, and the tour climaxed with sold out shows at Royal Albert Hall in London and Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Grace For Drowning was the second album released under Wilson's own name, following 2009's exceptionally well-received Insurgentes. The album, released in September 2011, entered the UK top 40 album chart at #34, both the Dutch and German national charts at #22, the US Billboard Rock album chart at #19 (#13 in independent chart) and debuted at #7 in the Polish national charts.

Following the release of Grace For Drowning, Steven embarked on his first ever solo tour, assembling a virtuoso band, featuring Marco Minnemann (drums), Nick Beggs (bass), Theo Travis (flute and sax), Adam Holzman (keys) and Niko Tsonev (guitars), to accompany him. For the shows he worked extensively with Lasse to create a show unlike nothing else that he had ever done with his other bands, Porcupine Tree, Blackfield, No-Man or Bass Communion.

The shows submerged fans in a rich sensory experience: rear speakers provide surround-sound effects, giant screens show off Lasse's films made specifically to accompany these songs, and cutting-edge lighting designs giving texture to each song.

Get All You Deserve captures one of the highlight shows from the tour. Recorded at a sold-out Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City, the gig features tracks from both Wilson's solo albums along with the new, as yet unreleased, track Luminol.

The limited deluxe edition of the 4 disc set (Blu-ray, DVD & 2CD) is packaged in a DVD sized hard-back 40 page book. It is now available to pre-order from the Kscope store for the early bird price of £24.99 (+ P&P).

Pre-order now for 24th September 2012 release date

The box set with 2 CDs, BluRay & DVD is on Amazon.com for $13.99

The image clearly shows this is the deluxe box set.

Snap it up before Amazon realise their mistake.

Worth a shot, but the rest of the listing appears to be for the single disc Blu-ray. They might just have the wrong picture up temporarily. Let's definitely keep a close eye on this page.

Hi Linda

I am curious what is the legality of this? Surely the picture is what item is for sale? I know ebay customers must obey to what the image is on the sale listing.

Hi Linda

I am curious what is the legality of this? Surely the picture is what item is for sale? I know ebay customers must obey to what the image is on the sale listing.

The service agreement is such (not just for Amazon but for most large e-tailers) that they may cancel any order which was listed by mistake, or which includes mistaken information. Sometimes for extreme pricing errors they do cancel the orders, as with The Kinks box set from a couple of years ago. Sometimes they don't, as with the recent Great British Albums box set at Amazon UK.

In the case of eBay, it's the company trying to provide safety for customers so that the site's third party sellers can't rip people off at will with deliberately deceptive images. In Amazon's case this would cover third party sellers, but with their own inventory any mistake is obviously an honest one and not intentional, and we're agreeing when purchasing that our orders could be cancelled in such cases.

My attitude basically is: Sometimes we'll find an inexplicably fantastic price and it will honoured, other times it will be cancelled, but it's always worth a shot.

Amazon.com has yet to confirm what is actually for sale.

Here's the final shakeout:

From the left, that's the 4-Disc Set (2 CDs, 1 DVD and 1 Blu-ray), the separate DVD, and the separate Blu-ray. The product images still don't appear to be correct at the time I'm posting this, but the descriptions are correct so these can be ordered with confidence.

I am not a fan of these exclusive offers. I'm old fashioned in that I believe that these bonus discs should be included with the standard product and it should be available in a SHOP not just one particular site that charges a small fortune for postage.
