While making an office supplies run to the local Wal-Mart today I noticed a display of Batman DVDs. They had DVDs of several of the Batman animated series. Didn't know they were pushing Bat-product in conjunction with the new movie release.

Once again, Daphne's thread title misled me. I thought the caped crusader popped in to get some stuff for Wayne Manor.

I've seen the "Vengeance of Bane" trade paperback at Wal-Mart. I NEVER see superhero comics there.

Yeah, I saw a bunch of DVDs. One of the BtAS ones had "Over the Edge," my favorite episode.
That's the one where Batgirl "dies."

So, is the original special Vengeance of Band doing well in the back issue market? Should I dig it up and sell it?

The title is not deceptive. Not even Batman can resist Wal Mart's low, low prices

That's the second strangest thing I've ever seen parked in a Wal-Mart lot.

The real Batman would never double park.

I would put a parking ticket on that Batmobile.

But I would guess Commissioner Gordon would just rip up the ticket (for his bud).

Parking tickets don't make good rolling papers.

The "cockpit" top slides out.

Do you think that works for this one as well? That would be really cool to see.

I would have to guess so... otherwise, how would they get in?

One of these, just a couple of months ago.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CX500

It was a strange sight partly because you don't see machines of that vintage much nowadays. What really made this one stand out is that it looked to be held together with electrical tape and rust. It was as if the bike had spent most of the last three decades buried in the dirt. I was amazed that the thing could actually still run!
