RIP.
Hemsley played a pioneering TV character (successful independent businessman who happened to be black) but never seems to get any credit for it. Maybe because it was in a comedy series. But I think he was influential as well as talented.

Many thanks to Dr. Chris Evil for pointing out Sherman's great love of '70s prog-rock. That made my opinion of Mr. Jefferson even better.
