It seems to be a given that the Green Goblin will reappear, but beyond than, who knows?
Maybe the next movie will have two villains. That's fine, but no more.Three villains in one movie is courting disaster (Spider-Man 3).

I'd be most interested in the Scorpion.

The Scorpion would allow them to introduce J. Jonah Jameson and the Daily Bugle cast in the next one....but they'd have to come up with a creative way for Jonah not to go to jail at the end.

I imagine they'd make the Scorpion a product of OsCorp.

I don't much about Spider-Man or his villains, but I liked Vulture when he was the bad guy in an 80's Daredevil story.

What is the difference between the powers of Electro and Shocker?

Electro's powers are electrical in nature, while the Shocker's are more concussive force.

Electro's powers are electrical in nature, while the Shocker's are more concussive force.

Shocker's are also tech-enabled. He doesn't have any natural power.

Good point. They also both have costumes that I imagine would be radically changed for the movie screen.

My son suggested the Chameleon. I liked it.

It needs on Oscorp villain (like Scorpion or Mysterio) who's using rogue technology, and then Kraven the Hunter comes in from out of town to hunt down Spider-man. Kraven for the win.

I guarantee if Nolan did a Spider-man movie, he would use Kraven the Hunter.

Chameleon may be more up Nolan's alley.

Chameleon could be that other, "Oscorp" type villain. He can't do enough to be the main guy.

So even with Chameleon, it's Kraven for the win.

The Red Ghost and his Super-Apes.

Marvel is just dabbling in the movie business until we get the super-apes.

That would completely destroy my dream of working Batman into the Rise of the Planet of the Apes sequel.

A shocker is "two in the pink, one in the stink". I imagine an electro is the opposite -- one in the pink, two in the stink.

I guarantee if Nolan did a Spider-man movie, he would use Kaine.

Man, that guy loves his 90's villains. Plus, it rhymes with Bane.

Maybe, based on the Lizard, OsCorp starts splicing more dudes with animal DNA, so you get guys like the Vulture and the Rhino hanging around.

None of Nolan's comic characters ever has super-powers, though, so this discussion is pretty much moot.
